Located along three valleys of Italy and Switzerland, against the backdrop of the Matterhorn (4478 meters), up to 3883 meters of the Klein Matterhorn, is linked to the slopes of Zermatt and Valtournenche for a total of 350 kilometers of ski slopes.
Near the ski lifts Cretaz the area is equipped with lighting allowing the holding of night skiing events.
For lovers of cross-country skiing in Cervinia you can find a circuit of 3 km on the grounds of the golf course, while in Valtournenche is a circuit of 3.3 km and another of 6.5km.
In summer it is possible to ski in Switzerland on the slopes of the Plateau Rosa glacier. Cervinia also has a bobsled to 1520 m with a height difference of 139 m. The town is also the starting point for excursions to the area shelters and for climbing the Matterhorn. There are various mountaineering paths.
