Val di Fassa, between the provinces of Bolzano, Trento and Belluno, is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Dolomites. It offers over 120 km of ski slopes, distributed at locations in Campitello di Fassa, Vigo di Fassa, Canazei, Passo Fedaia, Passo Carezza, Passo Pordoi, renowned for its beauty and receptivity.
The Val di Fassa Ladin is known as a valley of incomparable beauty, extending for about 20 km and dotted with some of the most famous Dolomite peaks in the world: the Roda di Vael, the Rosengarten, Sassolungo, the Sella group, the Monzoni, on which stands the Marmolada.
The lifts are modern and efficient, the ski slopes are almost all equipped with artificial snow machines.
The main area is Canazei, connected to the Sella Ronda, Arabba and Val Gardena. On the other side of the valley there are the districts of Alba di Canazei (Ciampac) and Pozza di Fassa, connected to each other. Lower down there are areas of skiabili Karerpass, Rosengarten and Vigo di Fassa.
Moena is geographically part of the Val di Fassa but is included in the district of the Three Valleys.
