The Ski Area Carezza (1200 - 2350 m) offers 40 km of downhill slopes, particularly suitable for children and their families. It lies on the road from Vigo di Fassa Costalunga up towards the pass.
Other lifts are located along the road leading to Nova Levante and to Passo Nigra.
The installation of Pauline, which crosses the golf course, means you can enjoy a unique landscape, among the Dolomites, with a splendid view of the Rosengarten group to the north and the Latemar to the east. From winter 2008/09, there is a new ski slope connecting the area with the area Latemar Golflift / Paolina. At the same time the snow making system was upgraded to ensure coverage of most of the tracks.

The availaible sports include not only skiing but also include snowboarding, sledding, ice skating and hockey.

In Alta Badia are two sites that fall under the declaration of "Natural Heritage of Humanity": the natural park of Fanes Sennes Braies and natural park Puez Odle. Summer is the best season to visit.

Unesco: the Dolomites become Universal Heritage of Humanity

The World Heritage Committee has officially entered the Dolomites in the list of Universal Heritage of Humanity UNESCO. A decision on the nomination submitted by the Italian government was taken unanimously by the 21 members of the UNESCO committee, meeting in Seville.

Sellaronda Skimarathon, the famous international touring ski competition, has come to his 14th edition. It's a touring ski competition by night for extreme skiers, also valid for the "Coppa delle Dolomiti". The competition is open to 2-people teams. Each team must be equipped with: two pairs of touring skis and a front light.
