The "Lagazuoi - 5 Torri - Giau" SkiArea in continuous renewal. The arrival of the new chair will be placed next to the hut at the start of the track Averau to the lift and Giau Averau Troi. In addition to the old single-seater chairlift, will therefore also retire the manovia was needed to reach the refuge by the arrival of the old chairlift.
The total transport time to reach the fork in the complex will be halved, thanks to 'increase the speed of the new system compared to the two that are replaced. This will definitely solved the problems of connection between the 5 Torri and step Giau and between 5 and Towers Falzarego:the transition between the two sides will be much easier and will allow skiers to enjoy the fantastic views of the most famous mountains in the Dolomites - Tofana, Civetta, Pelmo - without the inconvenience we were used between skiers who failed to take "on the fly" the antiquated chair or unable to engage the manovia.

The work of installation of the new facility are well advanced and will be finalized over the coming months the new wiring and testing carried out because everything is ready for the next ski season. The beginning of the season in Cortina d'Ampezzo with the 'opening of the first plant is scheduled for November 26, although in all probability the whole area, snow permitting, should open on December 3rd.
