Deciding the final position of a curve is critical to getting the most out of skiing

Three actions in one!

Thursday 20 July 2017
After seeing how to "tie" the skis to the ground (get an edge grip) and figure out how to do not "run" the queues (to counter the loss of edge grip that would result from excessive rotation of the skis, feet And the body in the direction of the curve) we try to get the maximum speed, by "sliding and cutting" the skis towards the descent as you want to cut going "down"!

When the escape code

Sunday 16 April 2017
Prevent escaping code is the problem of all skiers who want a ski trip fast and precise. The greater the speed, the slope of the terrain, the degree of closure of the curve, so it becomes more difficult to avoid the drift ...

The magic carpet

Tuesday 11 April 2017

The 'importance of the feet

Friday 24 March 2017
We often speak of the feet, but very little is known them .... It is used many times to corrections of the pelvis, torso, arms, shoulders that are most often little efficaci.Attivare the foot inside the boot means creating tensions between the foot and inside of the shoe which give solidity to the whole and moment by moment govern the right muscle tension for optimal dynamic balance.

Pencils as understand the mechanism of edge grip

Tuesday 21 March 2017
fundamental movement in skiing, as unusual in daily life is the 'laterally tilt the foot to get the edge grip of the skis and the driving in curve. An exceptional metaphor is given by ns. Marco Martini: imagine two double pointed pencils placed transversely to skiing at the height of the paddles. It 'clear that for them to write about here and there must tilt-foot ankles and skiing ... and that to change from writing to our left to our right or vice versa must quickly change the angle of the feet.

The 'importance of rhythm in skiing

Thursday 2 March 2017

The 'clock: disassociate the trunk and torso from the legs and feet - Intermediate ski course

Thursday 23 February 2017
We want to put in our rhythmic sequence with skis parallel curves without hesitation, we must be sure to have fully acquired the right balance scheme and to be able to dissociate the 'action of the lower body, the feet and lower limbs, from the bust and torso. The upper part and the lower part of the body must be independent of each dall''altra.

The corridor of a sequence of curves

Tuesday 21 February 2017

The responsiveness of the goalkeeper in skiing

Tuesday 31 January 2017

Prepare for a good location in Snow

Monday 2 January 2017
Most skiers have learned to ski from the position in throwers. This is achieved by simply approaching the ski tips and widening heels to form a triangle that points in the direction towards the valley. This technique allows you to slow the skiing and is used in some circumstances even by the most experienced skiers, being careful not to overlap the skis, on pain of loss of control.

The first step in learning to ski

Wednesday 21 December 2016
The first step before starting to ski is to find confidence with the ski boot. If you wear a ski boot for the first time you must first learn to live with this tool that will be the means by which you can then control the skis during your days on the snow.
