Lapshin Bis and Charvatova-Glazyrina in the Sprint at the Summer Biathlon World Championships

Bis di Lapshin e Charvatova-Glazyrina nella Sprint ai Mondiali di Summer Biathlon
Like yesterday in the opening Super Sprint, it is the women's races that reserve the most excitement in this edition of the Raubichi Summer Biathlon World Championships.
In today's classic Sprint, the chronometer was unable to separate the Czech Lucie Charvatova and Ekaterina Glazyrina. The Russian, playing with one of the first bibs, is perfect with 10/10 at the shooting range and remains for a long time at the top of the provisional general classification until the arrival of Charvatova who, after paying a penalty round in the standing session, recovers more than eight seconds in the last lap and stops the clock at the same time as Glazyrina for a double Gold medal. On the third step of the podium is the Ukrainian Darya Blashko (1 + 0) who pays only 2 "4 from the winners and precedes the Russian Kristina Reztsova (0 + 0) and the compatriot Anastasyia Merkushyna (0 + 0). In the men's field, after the Gold in yesterday's Super Sprint, the Russian with Timofei Lapshin, a Korean passport, repeats himself and with a single mistake at the shooting range manages to precede Alexander Povarnitsyn by 4 seconds, 9/10 also for him. A second bronze medal arrives for Eduard Latypov despite two errors in the shooting, 15 seconds behind the winner. The Belarussian Bocharnikov is fourth, fifth the Kazakh Yeremin and sixth, with the best time on the rollers, the Slovenian Klemen Bauer. In the Junior category races, among the girls the victory goes to the Chinese Yuanmeng Chu, already Argento yesterday, while in the men field the Belarusian Dzmitry Lazouski is imposed.
