Alexis Boeuf retires with immediate effect
Martin and Simon Fourcade have revealed that their teammate Alexis Boeuf has decided to hang up his rifle to the nail with immediate effect.The twenty-eight native of Chamb & eacute; ry began with big difficulties & agrave; the season and finished 62 & deg; & nell''individuale of Ćland; stersund and 87 & deg; sprint in Hochfilzen, and after a couple of difficult years, has apparently decided to end his racing career being now unable to achieve weight after a brilliant three-year period.
Boeuf in his career he won a race in the World Cup (in Presque Isle, in February 2011), and finished on the podium three more times (one second and two third places). Also with the relay won four world championship medals: 2 silver in the tests monosesso (Nove Mesto Ruhpolding 2012 and 2013), one silver and one bronze in the mixed (Khanty-Mansiysk 2011 and Nove Mesto, 2013).
He also participated in the FIS Cross-Country World Cup, finishing 20 & deg; in a sprint in Davos in December 2010 and earning the convocation for the World Championships in Oslo in 2011.
