Val d'Ultimo extends south-west of Merano to the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio. It starts with the location of wool, covered with vineyards and chestnut woods, ending at altitudes close to ten thousand feet with the glacier Ortles in the south-east. The landscape, mountain and rural setting, has all the features of traditional Tyrolean valleys: old farmsteads inhabited by native people of the valley, green meadows thick forests and high mountains. On both fronts, north and south of Val VenostaVal di Non, over 700 km of trails are a paradise for hikers. The ski resort Schwemmalm, which extends up to 2600 m above sea level, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks of the massif Ortler. It offers 18 Km of trails for downhill skiing and 25km for cross-country skiing, 2 circuits for sledding, 3 skating rinks, a curling plate and après-ski with an exceptionally hospitable reception.
From the winter season 2019/2020, in Badia you can climb near the pilgrimage church "Santa Croce" with the new 10-seat gondola lift "La Crusc 2" which will replace the old two-seater chairlift "La Crusc" in operation by now 21 years.

Florian Eisath, former blue athlete of the Ski World Cup, began his new life as an entrepreneur. Today he is the director of Carezza Dolomites, the company that deals with the installations of the ski area where Florian has grown and dreams of making known all over the world.

From the winter season 2018/2019 the ski areas Malga San Valentino and Belpiano will be connected by two 10-seater gondola lifts. The first plant, the GD10 St. Valentino - SchnÃ¶neben cable car, will start from San Valentino alla Muta and will reach the Belpiano ski area. From here the second system will start, the "GD10 HÃ¶llental" gondola lift, which will lead to the highest point of the Jochban ski slope at an altitude of 2390 meters.
