Set at 1890 meters altitude Solda is considered to be Siberia in Tyrol and is surrounded by at least 10 peaks above 3000 including the Ortles, Cevedale, Grand Zebrù, making it an incredibly fascinating landscape. For alpine skiing the resort offers 42 miles of trails ranging from 1900 my 3250 m. The most notable pistes are an easy and scenic route off the track, and the Kanonenrohr, a black 2.5 kilometers that is very steep and narrow with breathtaking views.
