The national ski cross turns on the engines: Klotz and companions at the Stelvio until 21 August
A first meeting for the Azzurri in view of the 2019/2020 season. Let's see dates and call ...It will be Siegmar Klotz, the former Italian downhill skier who, after retiring at the end of the 2015/16 vintage, has totally dedicated himself to his new discipline, to lead the national ski cross in the first summer rally scheduled for Sunday 18 until Wednesday 21 August, on the slopes of the Stelvio Pass.
In addition to the 31 year old from Merano, the ds Cesare Pisoni has summoned Jamie Lee Castello, Andrea Tonon, Pascal Rizzi, Yanick Gunsch, Riccardo Gerosa, Edoardo Zorzi, Simone Deromedis and Lucrezia Fantelli.
The world season of the ski cross will start at the end of August in La Parva, Chile, with the South American Cup races, but the European season with the first FIS will start at the end of October in Saas Fee, before the start of the 2019/2020 World Cup, scheduled from 5 to 7 December in Val Thorens, France.
