FuturFISI, a project of 700 thousand Euro for future winter sports champions

"FuturFisi", the new sports project for young interdisciplinary FISI, was presented yesterday in Milan at Via Piranesi, Palace of CONI. The project was strongly backed by the Federal President Flavio Roda and initially will involve 127 young people from the 10 Winter Olympic events.

"For the first time it gives equal status to all Olympic disciplines - Roda President said - taking the utmost account of the activities of the athletes and the sustainability of the project. We estimated a budget of around 700 thousand euros for the whole activity, we're going to cover with the support of the Olympic Preparation of cones, with Teva Pharmaceutical ll'azienda Italy, the main sponsor, sponsors and other children with whom we are still finalizing the last details. "

The initiative launched by FIS will allow young people between 16 and 20 years to participate in programs of growth in a more structured and organized professional. The cornerstones of the project were presented by Roberto Manzoni: interdisciplinary, long-time average for the growth of athletes, economic sustainability, transparency, involvement of the territory, identification and support of "talent", education and training of technicians. ; The technical managers will FuturFisi: Devid Salvadori for alpine skiing men, Heini Pfitscher for alpine skiing women, Marco Selle for the fund, Moreno Montello for biathlon, tobogganing Damian Karl, Mark Mazzonelli snowboard and freestyle, Andrea Longo and Henry From Mea for jumping and Nordic combined, Antonio Tartaglia for the bobsled and skeleton Omar bag. fifteen athletes representing different disciplines, including Patrick Baumgartner, gold medal in the bobsled at the recent Youth Olympics in Innsbruck.

The following athletes will be part of the project: 127 young people as follows: 21 biathlon, bobsled artificial 6, 12 freestyle, 15 special jumping and Nordic combined, 27 downhill skiing, 20 ski trails, 2 skeleton, luge 12 Artificial Snowboard and 12.
