Located in the heart of the Dolomites at the foot of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, Val Gardena is a land full of contrasts, rich colors and natural beauty.
The ski resorts in the area, Ortisei, S. Cristina, Selva di Val Gardena, in addition to the magnificence of nature, offer a wide range of artistic, sporting and cultural activities.
The runs boast modern ski lifts that lead skiers on an area of 176 km of ski slopes and 102 km of cross country skiing, with varying slopes from easy to medium, for all skiers, also with more technical descents and breathtaking scenary.
The three locations are part of the Domain Dolomites Superski. All three places can be accessed with a ski pass Dolomiti Superski for Sellaronda.

Unesco: the Dolomites become Universal Heritage of Humanity

The World Heritage Committee has officially entered the Dolomites in the list of Universal Heritage of Humanity UNESCO. A decision on the nomination submitted by the Italian government was taken unanimously by the 21 members of the UNESCO committee, meeting in Seville.

Hay Bath by tradition of the Alpe di Siusi plateau

It is a tradition that is rooted in the habits of peasants in the region 'Alpe di Siusi: resting on the hay. The "hay baths" are real dives in fresh grass in the process of fermentation, during which the temperature reaches values between 40 and 70 degrees by stimulating a strong perspiration, which persists even after the application.

Sellaronda Skimarathon, the famous international touring ski competition, has come to his 14th edition. It's a touring ski competition by night for extreme skiers, also valid for the "Coppa delle Dolomiti". The competition is open to 2-people teams. Each team must be equipped with: two pairs of touring skis and a front light.
