At 1265 m. altitude, Usseglio is the centre of the bottom of 'High Viù Valley, the southernmost of the three valleys of Lanzo and stands at the centre of a large basin surrounded by meadows and forests and lapped by the waters of the Stura Viù.
The ski resort is situated in Usseglio Benot Pian and has four lifts and 20 km of ski slopes, all equipped with facilities for artificial snow. Thanks to its location, the resort is suitable for families and beginners, but even the experienced skier may find it interesting.
For snowboarders there is the recently built Grass Valley Snowpark; you can also go cross-country skiing and ski touring.
