San Domenico è una frazione del comune di Varzo situata a 1410 m. di altitudine, in Val Cairasca, una valle laterale della Val Divedro, parte delle valli dell'Ossola.
San Domenico è il punto di partenza per le piste dell’Alpe Ciamporino ed è apprezzato sia per la completezza dell’offerta, sia in quanto è una località facilmente raggiungibile dalla Lombardia e dal Piemonte. Lo sci alpino si pratica tra i 1420 m dell'abitato di San Domenico ai 2535 metri del Dosso, su 20 km di piste.
Nell'assolata conca dell'Alpe Ciamporino si trovano piste facili e ampie adatte ai principianti, mentre il Passo Sella e il Dosso ci sono alcune piste che omologate per il superG e la Discesa libera che potranno soddisfare gli sciatori più esperti.
