Monte Pora (1880 m) and Presolana Pass (1630 m) are the two most famous ski resorts of Val Seriana. The rounded shape of the mountain, with hillsides with varying slopes, and the lack of vegetation allows very large slopes that are often sunny, much loved by the less experienced skiers and intermediate level. Presolana is known as the Gymnasium of Bergamo skiing, a skiing paradise for kids and beginners.In the Monte Pora on the side of Mount Scanapà, there are more challenging pistes.
At Pass Presolana is the first centre ski instruction for the handicapped, a timed Ski Stadium accessible to all, a 6 km circuit for cross-contry and a skating rink.
