A few kilometers from Trento, between the Brenta Dolomites, at an altitude between 1,000 and 2,100 meters, lies the alpine ski resort of Andalo and Fai Molveno Paganella. The many lifts have an area of about 50 kilometers of slopes for alpine skiing suitable for both experienced skiers and beginners.Over 95% of the ski area is covered by snow-making facilities.
Paganella is a historical ski area founded in the first decades of the 10th century.
Andalo, in Lago, offers the opportunity to practice cross-country skiing on a 3km circuit with artificial snow making machines and night lighting; another 5 km of trails are planned for Paganella. There are also several proposals for ski-mountaineering, climbing frozen waterfalls, walks with snowshoes and ice skating.
