Season openings is scheduled for the end of September at the Stubai Glacier and this year the season 2012/2013 will start in the sign of important innovations. With an investment of 12 million euros the resort of Tyrol, in addition to the replacement of an existing plant, will allow skiers to explore a new area over 3000 m. The new area will be mainly dedicated to freeride, but will also offer a new black slope with a maximum gradient of 60%.

Cristian, who in January won a historic victory in Kitzbuhel slalom in front of the landlord to champion Mario Matt and Ivica Kostelic, now turns in the dedication of one of the legendary red cabin that lead top of the Streif.
