Erika Schinegger, an Austrian alpine skier is not only famous for his victories but also for his life a dispute. So controversial that Hollywood is planning to make a film that will star as interpreters of James Franco, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jeremy Renner.
If you remember well Erika participated in the women's competitions until 1967, when it was discovered his pseudohermaphroditism. So it was that the athlete was disqualified from the race and decided to submit to an operation to become a man in all respects and turned his name to Erik.
Looking at his career, in 1966 Erika won the gold medal in downhill at the World Championships in Portillo, has a win in giant slalom at the World Cup and has risen 5 times on the podium.
In the film, which will be filmed next year, it seems that it will also appear the former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a supporting role.
